Terms and conditions
Last updated 27 September 2026
The terms that apply when you use learning.hyve.ae, or book, join or pay for any HYVE AI Labs Learning programme. For any question about them, email ai@hyve.ae.
1. About these terms
- These terms and conditions ("Terms") govern your use of learning.hyve.ae (the "Website") and any programme, course, cohort, subscription, membership or related service we provide (together, the "Services").
- By booking, paying for, joining or using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you book for an organisation, you confirm you have authority to bind it.
- If you book for someone under 18, section 11 also applies.
- Where a signed proposal, statement of work, purchase order or corporate agreement (an "Order Document") conflicts with these Terms, the Order Document prevails for that engagement.
2. Who we are
HYVE AI Labs Learning is the training division of HYVE AI Labs, based at IFZA Business Park, Dubai Silicon Oasis, Dubai, United Arab Emirates. "We", "us" and "our" mean HYVE AI Labs.
For any question about these Terms, email ai@hyve.ae. You can also reach us by phone or WhatsApp on +971 50 914 1513.
3. Definitions
| Term | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Learner | The person who attends a programme, whether they booked it or someone else did. |
| Customer | The person or organisation that books and pays. This may be the learner or their employer. |
| Programme | Any course, track, academy, cohort or workshop we run, whether live online, on-site or hybrid. |
| Cohort | A scheduled group run of a programme with a fixed start date and set sessions. |
| Subscription | A programme or plan billed monthly or annually. |
| Corporate Plan | A plan, membership or private cohort an organisation buys for its people. |
| Materials | Everything we provide to deliver a programme, including slides, labs, code, prompts, templates, recordings and documents. |
| Free Tools | The readiness assessment, Agent Studio, Training Finder, glossary and other Website resources available without payment. |
4. Our programmes
- We offer programmes including Business AI courses, the Executive AI Academy, AI Career Bridge, Tech Role tracks, FDE Readiness, Claude Code training and AI programmes for students. The Website describes each programme's content, format and prerequisites.
- Programmes are delivered live online, on-site at your premises or ours, or as a hybrid. Delivery is in English, with Arabic where stated or agreed.
- We update content regularly to keep pace with AI tools and regulation. We may change content, tools, instructors or session order, provided the programme's overall learning outcomes stay materially the same.
- Sessions are delivered by HYVE AI Labs engineers and specialists. We choose who delivers each session and may replace an instructor when needed.
- Prerequisites are there to help you get value from a programme. If you join without meeting them, we may suggest a better-suited programme, but this alone is not grounds for a refund once the programme has started.
5. Enrolment and booking
- You can request a place through the Website, by email, by WhatsApp or through a LinkedIn lead form. A request is not a booking.
- A booking is confirmed only when we confirm it in writing and receive payment. For corporate customers, an accepted Order Document or purchase order confirms it.
- Cohort seats are limited and allocated in the order bookings are confirmed. If a cohort is full, we will offer a place on the next available cohort or the waiting list.
- You must give accurate booking information and keep it up to date.
- A place belongs to the named learner. You may substitute another learner as set out in section 9.
- A free demo or scoping call carries no obligation to book.
6. Fees, payment and VAT
- Fees are shown in UAE dirhams (AED) on the Website or in your Order Document. Amounts shown in other currencies are approximate.
- Fees exclude VAT unless stated. UAE VAT is added at the applicable rate, currently 5%.
- Unless your Order Document says otherwise, individual fees are payable in full before the programme starts. Corporate invoices are payable within 30 days of the invoice date.
- If a payment is overdue, we may suspend access to the programme after telling you in writing and giving you 7 days to pay.
- Discounts, including any for government schools, public universities and non-profits, apply only when confirmed in writing. Discounts cannot be combined unless we agree.
- Fees do not cover your equipment, internet access, travel or third-party licences, unless the programme description says so (see section 14).
7. Subscriptions and corporate plans
- Where a subscription renews automatically, we will say so when you subscribe, and it continues until cancelled.
- You can cancel a monthly subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing month, and access continues until then.
- You can cancel an annual subscription within 14 days of purchase for a full refund, if you have not attended a live session. After that, it runs to the end of the term and is not refundable, except where the law requires.
- We will give at least 30 days' notice before changing a subscription price. The new price applies from your next renewal, and you can cancel before it does.
- Corporate plans and memberships run for the term in the Order Document. Seats can be reassigned between employees as the Order Document allows.
8. Cohorts and scheduling
- Cohort dates and session times are published on the Website or confirmed when you book. Times are Gulf Standard Time (UTC+4) unless stated.
- We may reschedule an individual session for operational reasons. We will give as much notice as we reasonably can and make sure you can still complete the programme, for example through a replacement session or a recording.
- We may cancel or postpone a cohort if too few learners enrol, or for reasons outside our control. We will tell you at least 7 days before the start where possible, and you can choose a full refund or a place on another cohort.
- You are responsible for attending. Where recordings or catch-up material exist we will share them, but missed live sessions are not refunded.
9. Cancellations, transfers and refunds
To cancel, email ai@hyve.ae. Your cancellation date is the day we receive the email. For individual seats:
| When you cancel | What you get |
|---|---|
| 14 or more days before the cohort starts | Full refund, or a free transfer to a later cohort |
| 7 to 13 days before | 50% refund, or a free transfer to a later cohort |
| Less than 7 days before, or after it starts | No refund. One free transfer to a cohort starting within 6 months, or a free substitution |
- You may substitute another learner at no charge before the cohort starts, provided they meet the prerequisites.
- If we cancel a cohort or cannot deliver a programme you paid for, you choose a full refund of fees for the undelivered part, or a transfer.
- Approved refunds are paid to the original payment method within 14 days. Bank charges may apply.
- Corporate bookings follow the cancellation terms in their Order Document. Where it is silent, the table above applies to each seat.
- Nothing in this section affects rights you have under UAE consumer protection law that cannot be excluded.
10. Corporate and government engagements
- For organisations, the scope, deliverables, schedule, fees and payment terms are set in an Order Document. These Terms cover anything the Order Document does not.
- Engagements may include readiness assessment, programme design, delivery, reporting and governance support. Building AI systems for a customer is covered by a separate agreement, not by these Terms.
- The customer nominates learners, gives them time to attend, and provides reasonable access to the facilities, systems and people needed for on-site or tailored delivery.
- We deliver public-sector and enterprise engagements under a confidentiality agreement by default. We will follow reasonable security and vetting requirements agreed in writing.
- Progress and adoption reports describe attendance and observed outcomes. They are not an audit or certification of the customer's AI systems or regulatory compliance.
11. Learners under 18
- Some student programmes are open to learners under 18. A parent or legal guardian must book, or give written consent for, any learner under 18, and accepts these Terms on the learner's behalf.
- For programmes delivered through a school or university, that institution's agreement with us sets how consent is collected.
- Sessions with under-18 learners follow our safeguarding policy, which is available on request.
- We collect only the personal data needed to run the programme and handle it as our Privacy Policy describes.
12. Your responsibilities and acceptable use
You agree to:
- attend on time and take part respectfully;
- keep your login details and joining links to yourself;
- use the Materials only as section 19 allows;
- follow your employer's policies when using its systems, code or data during a programme.
You must not:
- record, stream or screenshot sessions without our permission;
- harass or discriminate against instructors or other learners;
- use anything learned or provided to build malware, attack systems, break the law or breach third-party terms;
- access systems, accounts or data you are not authorised to use.
We may remove a learner who breaches this section from a session or programme. Where the breach is serious, no refund is due.
13. Labs, your data and confidentiality
- Many sessions use hands-on labs, and some can use your own workflows or codebase. You decide what to bring into a lab and must have the right to use it.
- Do not bring personal data, customer data, secrets, API keys, passwords or other credentials into a lab unless we have agreed in writing how they will be handled. Use sample or synthetic data where you can.
- We keep confidential information you or your organisation share with us confidential. We use it only to deliver the Services and share it only with staff who need it. This excludes information that is public, already known to us, or that the law requires us to disclose.
- Labs that run on third-party AI tools process what you enter under that tool's terms. We will tell you which tools a lab uses before it starts.
- Your organisation's own data-handling policies continue to apply to you during training.
14. Third-party AI tools
- Programmes teach and use third-party products, such as Claude Code, ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot and no-code automation platforms.
- Unless the programme description or Order Document says we provide access, you are responsible for any accounts, licences or subscriptions these tools need, and their cost.
- Those tools are governed by their providers' terms and policies, not ours. We are not responsible for their availability, pricing, features or changes.
- HYVE AI Labs is an independent training provider. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or a partner of Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, Microsoft or any other tool provider, unless we expressly say so. Claude and Claude Code are trademarks of Anthropic, PBC; other names belong to their owners.
- Where a programme includes licensed tool access, prompt libraries, templates or blueprints, access lasts for the period and number of users stated, on the tool provider's terms.
15. AI-generated output
- AI tools can produce content or code that is wrong, insecure, biased or that infringes someone else's rights. Our training teaches you to review and control output; it does not remove these risks.
- You and your organisation are responsible for reviewing, testing and approving any AI output before relying on it or putting it into production.
- Examples, code and outputs in our Materials and marketing are illustrative. They do not promise any result in your environment.
16. Certificates
- Learners who meet a programme's completion requirements, such as attendance and a capstone or assessment, receive a HYVE AI Labs certificate of completion, which may include a verification link.
- A certificate confirms completion of our programme. It is not a qualification accredited by a government, university or professional body, unless the programme description says otherwise.
- We may withhold or withdraw a certificate if completion requirements were not met, or were met dishonestly.
17. Career outcomes
Programmes such as AI Career Bridge and FDE Readiness build skills and prepare you for roles and interviews. We do not guarantee a job, promotion, salary, interview or place on another programme. Placement conversations and recommendations are advice, not a commitment, and any market or salary data we mention reflects public information at the time.
18. Support after the programme
- Live programmes include a Q&A session after each live session, where the instructor helps with questions from your own work.
- After a programme ends, learners can send follow-up questions to our engineers for 30 days. Corporate plans may include longer support, as set in the Order Document.
- Post-programme support is guidance on applying what was taught. Consulting, development and maintenance work is available separately.
19. Intellectual property
- We or our licensors own all rights in the Materials, the Website, the Free Tools and our programme designs.
- We give each learner a personal, non-transferable licence to use the Materials for their own learning. Where the customer is an organisation, the licence also covers its internal business use.
- You must not resell, publish or publicly share the Materials, or use them to train others, without our written consent.
- You keep ownership of your own code, data and work, including anything you build in a lab or capstone. We will not publish it or use it in marketing without your consent.
- We may use feedback you give us to improve our programmes, with no obligation to you.
20. Recordings
- We may record live online sessions to provide catch-up and review material, and will say so at the start of any recorded session.
- Recordings are Materials. They are available to that cohort's learners for 90 days and are not shared outside the cohort without consent.
- We will not use recordings that show learners in marketing without their written consent.
- Sessions with under-18 learners follow the safeguarding arrangements in section 11.
21. Free Tools and Website content
- The Free Tools, including the readiness assessment, Agent Studio, Training Finder, glossary, prompt library and explainers, are provided free and as they are, for general information.
- Scores, agent briefs and recommendations they produce are starting points. They are not professional advice or an assessment of your compliance.
- We may change, suspend or withdraw Free Tools or Website content at any time.
- Links to third-party websites are provided for convenience; we are not responsible for their content.
22. Privacy
- We handle personal data as our Privacy Policy describes. It forms part of these Terms.
- We follow the UAE Personal Data Protection Law (Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021), and the EU or UK GDPR where they apply to you.
- If you submit a LinkedIn lead form, LinkedIn shares those details with us, and both LinkedIn's privacy policy and ours apply.
- Cookies and similar technologies are covered by our Cookie Policy.
23. Communications
- When you ask us to contact you, we will reply about that request by email, phone or WhatsApp.
- We send marketing only where you have actively opted in, such as by ticking a box, or where the law otherwise allows. You can opt out at any time through the unsubscribe link, by telling us on WhatsApp, or by emailing ai@hyve.ae.
- Service messages about a booking, such as joining links, schedule changes and invoices, are not marketing and continue while you are booked.
24. Limitation of liability
- Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
- We provide education and training. We are not liable for decisions you or your organisation make, or for systems you build or deploy, based on what you learn or on AI-generated output.
- We are not liable for loss of profit, revenue, data, business or opportunity, or for any indirect or consequential loss.
- Our total liability for any programme or Order Document is limited to the fees paid for it in the 12 months before the claim arose.
- We are not liable for failures of third-party tools or platforms, including AI tools and video-conferencing services.
25. Events outside our control
We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control. These include third-party platform outages, internet or power failures, government action, public health restrictions and natural disasters. We will tell you promptly and offer rescheduled sessions, a transfer, or a refund for anything we cannot deliver.
26. Changes to these Terms
- We may update these Terms. The version on the Website, with its last-updated date, applies from that date.
- Changes do not affect bookings already confirmed, unless the law requires it or you agree.
- For subscriptions, we will give at least 30 days' notice of material changes, and you can cancel before they apply.
27. Governing law and disputes
- These Terms, and any dispute arising from them, are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates as applied in the Emirate of Dubai.
- If you have a complaint, email ai@hyve.ae first. We will acknowledge it within 2 working days and aim to resolve it within 14 days.
- If a dispute is not resolved within 30 days, either party may refer it to the courts of Dubai, which have exclusive jurisdiction.
- If you are a consumer, you keep any rights under the law of your country of residence that cannot be excluded by agreement.
28. General
- These Terms, any Order Document and our Privacy Policy form the entire agreement between us about the Services.
- If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest still applies.
- If we do not enforce a right straight away, we can still enforce it later.
- You may not transfer your rights under these Terms without our consent. We may transfer ours to a successor or group company, and will tell you in writing.
- These Terms are written in English. If we provide an Arabic translation and the two differ, the English version prevails, unless UAE law requires otherwise.
- Send notices to us at ai@hyve.ae. We send notices to the email address you gave when booking.
